1. Treatment of herpes zoster infection Adults : As famciclovir, take 250mg at a time orally, 3 times a day for 7 days. It is desirable to start treatment as soon as symptoms appear after infection. 2. Treatment of primary genital herpes infection Adults : Administer orally as this drug, 250mg at a time, 3 times a day for 5 days. It is desirable to start treatment as soon as symptoms appear after infection. 3. Treatment of acute recurrent genital herpes infection Adults : As this drug, 125mg at a time, twice a day, orally for 5 days. It is desirable to start treatment as soon as symptoms appear during the prodromal period of after infection. 4. Suppression of recurrent genital herpes Adults : As this drug, take orally, 250mg at a time, twice a day. Treatment should be stopped periodically every 6 to 12 months to observe changes in the natural course of the disease. |
