1. Primary hypercholesterolemia (type IIa including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia), combined hyperlipidemia (type IIb), primary dysbetalipoproteinemia (type III), and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia : Before and during treatment with this drug, the standard cholesterol-lowering diet should be maintained, and this should be continued for the duration of treatment. You can take this medicine at any time of the day, with or without meals. 2. Heterogeneous familial hypercholesterolemia pediatric patients (10-17 years old) : A typical dosage range is 5 to 20 mg once daily. 3. Older people : No dose adjustment is required. |
